GUE 背景介绍， Global Underwater Explorer是近年全球最领先的技术潜水培训组织，以其培训和装备标准化的严格性著称，GUE目前在全球仅有3000人左右的正式成员，代表了当今运动/探险潜水界的最高水准。
GUE-FUNDAMENTAL 是GUE的入门级课程，是成为GUE正式成员及获准培训其它高阶课程的必修课程。GUE-F培训的重点是DIR装具的配置和使用，以及在8米深的平静水域完成一系列基本技巧培训和团队协作培训。

为什么要通过GUE-F的课程：完全不同于其它运动/休闲潜水培训体系，GUE-F课程回归到最基本的潜水理念和技术培训，其目的是使得被培训者的基本技巧可以适应极端的水下环境（例如有顶和狭小的水下环境），以及掌握最严格的水下团队协作和救援方法。无论你是休闲或极限潜水人，GUE-F可以使得你的知识、装备配置和技术具有当今潜水界最高的安全等级. 在全球范围内，许多参加GUE-F的人员是其它培训系统的课程总监级别的教练。
准入条件：
Must meet GUE General Course Prerequisites as outlined in Section 1.6
Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
Must be a certified open water diver from a recognized training agency
Must be able to swim a distance of at least 50 feet/15 meters on a breath hold
Must be able to swim at least 300 yards/275 meters in less than 14 minutes without stopping. This test should be conducted in a swimsuit and, where necessary, appropriate thermal protection.

Registration process:

2) Go to “Classroom” located at the top left of the web page, then enter
3) Click on “Student Registration” and you will be prompted on the first page of the registration process.
* Please note that this is a long six (6) form process registration. This ensures us at GUE headquarters that we get to know more about you before class proper
4) After you have finished the registration process, please PRINT your registration and submit to your GUE instructor.
5) By this time, kindly order your workbook and manual from your GUE instructor and pay in full.
6) Lastly, make sure you have paid any course fee balance to your GUE instructor before course begins.

Materials needed for the course:
The DIR-F kit, only available to students enrolled in a GUE DIR-Fundamentals course, includes a copy of the DIR-F manual, the new DIR-F student workbook, and an electronic membership/renewal to GUE, all for US$49.95. You save $23. The workbook is for DIR-F in-class use, and follows the Power Point presentation used by the instructors.
