主题：感谢关怀.
内容：
连日来收到不少朋友网友的来电和网上慰问，实在十分感谢．
这几日非常忙，忙于到医院和办理其他善后安排，所以未有时间网上回应或回复. 也令大家担心,很过意不去.
事发时候，莎拉和我和另外四个潜水朋友正在普吉Kata沙滩边，正装备准备落水．发现水面情况十分异常，所以停止装备上身．还在等候观察中，水位突然急退然后再急涨，跟着便打来一个极高速三四米高的大浪．大家马上

跟贴：小平，终于有了你们平安的消息，一直在担心。你们能死里逃生，真的是非常幸运呵！一定是有上天之神暗中保佑。
我和Alfa也算是运气不错吧，本来应该28日到普吉的。假如地震晚来几天的话......。
总之，我们都是有福之人，以后有机会一定大家在一起痛饮一杯！

跟贴：So many things happened so fast in the last few days. Very very glad to see so many people caring us after the incident, your support and comfort are as forceful as the tsunami.
We and other 4 divers survived at Kata Beach by miracle. On that very morning 10am, we were on the beach perparing for the dive. The tanks were set, weight belt were done. Just before we put on the gear, we observed a phenomenal tidal changes. Usually in the morning, the beach should be at high tide, but the tide was abnormally low. And within a minute, the "sea line" retreated as a speed never seen before (guess may be 30-50kph), and the whole coral reef was exposed above sea normal level. At this moment, the sea level might be 3-4m lower than normal.
At this very strange moment, many people walked to the sea wondering what's happening. Then the disaster came. A small initial wave came, not so fast and not so huge, may be 20-30kph and the wave stopped on the road just beside the beach (most people run like hell to escape the wave). And within about 10 seconds, the first real tsunami hit. The wave was about 3m high when it hit us where we stand on the beach road (I guess the beach road is about 1-2m above normal sea level). We were blown away into the near by resort (Club Med), at a speed I guess as fast as 100kph, e.g. a full speed train. Most are stopped and hold on to the trees some 50-100m away, but some are further.
During this critical moment, we were drowned by the wave and cannot breath for about 20-40 seconds. Most of us at that moment thought we would drowned to die. But luckily, we all able to hold the breath, drank a few mouthful sea water and survived the wave. And more lucky, no major obstacles from the beach (i.e. speed boat, long tails, water ski etc.) hit us and no harmful structures rather than trees that stop us. Otherwise, we would be killed instantly. Just cut arms and legs by minor objects and tress.
After the first wave, the water settled down for about 5 minutes . . . .

跟贴：Ting and I are so glad that you and Sarah are alright. Angus, the instructor you introduced for my Rescue Diver class, is fine also. He said that he used his rescue skills to save three people from drowning.
I know it will take time for Phuket to recover. But please let us know how things go. Im sure everyone wants to go back as soon as possible to help revive the local economy.

跟贴：谢谢慰问. 我们,还有另一北方来那天一起出海的朋友,正在休息康复中.
第一浪打来时的情形,那三四米高的浪估计以约百公里高速从海湾经我们所站的沙滩路冲向Club Med的草地和树丛内，全盖过我们并把围墙冲破． 我站在离墙约十米远对面的电话亭，其它人则站在较近Club Med的围墙． 不到一二十秒，我们都被冲到约一百米外并自然反应地死命抱着树枝． 其中一人则被浪冲向另一方向，未被树档住而冲到更远约150-200m的废堆中． 而Sarah较不幸，不到十多米便被一棵较近围墙的树枝卡着，被强劲急流横腰顶着淹住约二三十秒透不到气．
Sarah饮了几啖水快要窒息之前，庆幸成功推开树枝漂流到较后的树丛内，否则后果不堪想象． 这时我较幸运，大浪把我冲越围墙后不久冲来一个白色浮波，拉着它我较静定并用来保护身体，直至冲到树丛．
这第一浪打来之后，各人抱着树枝惊魂未定，我大声呼叫只听到其中一人响应和似乎混杂Sarah的声音． 水面这时开始较定，水慢慢退回沙滩． 我因有浮波在手，放胆游离Club Med树丛向约一百米远沙滩路较入的食店游去． 还有十多二十米时，全身都被慢慢流向沙滩的废弃物和沟渠污水包围，再拿着浮波也没用． 那时心想若不能逃出这杂物污水，恐怕要被淹死，更不要说再有大浪冲来的可能．庆幸最后终于半游半爬成功爬入食店后栏，虽然全身瘀伤无数，但爬上地站起来的一刹那心情非笔墨可形容．
走到沙滩路上较安全地方后，再开始大声呼叫寻找其它人，但似乎听不到任何响应． 心里还十分彷徨之际，不到一分钟左右，因站在较高和较后位置看到第二个大浪打来，我和在沙滩路上的人再大声尖叫狂奔． 走了近50米，庆幸逃过这第二个浪之余，我虚脱地坐在斜坡上看着再次升高的水位不禁哭了出来 ．．．
